Introduction to Immaculate Conception Church: Immaculate Conception Church (Iglesia-Parroquia Matriz de Nuestra Señora de La Concepción) is a Roman Catholic church built in 1511 and the first parish in Tenerife. Its structural style is quite similar to that of the Immaculate Conception Church in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Next to the entrance of the church is a statue of Pope John Paul II.
