Introduction to the "April 25" Bridge: The bridge spans the Tejo River on April 25, with a total length of 2277.64 meters, connecting Lisbon with Almad on the other side. The bridge was named Ponte Salazar when it opened to traffic on August 6, 1966. It was changed to its current name after the Dianthus Revolution. The April 25th Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco were built by the same company. Not only are they very similar in appearance, but coincidentally, the two bridges are located in West Coast cities on different continents.
