Introduction to Seongyi-ri Folk Village: There are more than 400 houses in the village, which authentically retain the original appearance of ancient village houses. The thatched roofs, stone courtyard walls, and houses with crossbars instead of doors all exude simplicity. You can also see some unique things of Jeju Island here, the most famous of which are black-haired native pigs and "Tongseo" (pig pen and toilet). The ancient beech and hackberry trees in the village bear witness to the 500-year long history of this place as the ancient Jingyi County seat.
