Introduction to Ye Ting's Bedroom: To the west of the hall is a small bedroom of only a few square meters. This is where Ye Ting and his wife live. The interior is dark and only has a small window on the north wall, which is supported by a few wooden pillars. Hanging above the small table against the west wall is a photo taken by Ye Ting in Macau in 1936. It was a photo taken before accepting Mao Zedong's invitation to go to Yan'an. At that time, he rejected Chiang Kai-shek's invitation to serve as the first commander of the Central Army, but happily Accepting the position of commander of the New Fourth Army was a landmark photo in his military career.
Beside the east wall of the room, there is a wooden bed facing north and south. The bed is covered with a linen tent that has turned yellow due to the passage of time, a blue printed coarse cloth quilt, and a small brown wool box at the bedside. They all tell the world the simplicity of Ye Ting's home life.
