Introduction to the Red Emperor Pavilion: "Historical Records - The Benji of Emperor Gaozu" records: At the end of the Qin Dynasty, when Liu Bang (the emperor of the Han Dynasty) was the director of the pavilion, he escorted laborers to Mount Li. The journey was long and most of the laborers died on the road. When he arrived in Fengxi Zezhong, Liu Bang saw that he could not complete the task as scheduled, so he revolted, and the strong laborers were willing to follow Liu Bang. At night, Liu Bang was drunk and ordered one person to go forward. The person going forward reported that there was a big snake blocking the road ahead. Please let us come back. Liu Bang was drunk and seemed to be not afraid of anything. He said: If you are a strong man, come with me. What are you afraid of? So he moved forward bravely. Liu Bang slashed the big white snake blocking the road into two pieces with his sword. The road was clear and he walked for several miles. , Liu Bang fell asleep. There was an old woman crying at the place where the snake was killed. Someone asked why she was crying. The old woman said, "Someone killed my son." Someone asked again, "Why did you see your son killed?" The old woman said, "My son was killed." The son, the White Emperor who turned into a snake, was beheaded by the Red Emperor for standing in the way. Because he deified the story of Liu Bang killing a snake, he called Liu Bang the "Son of the Red Emperor".
