Introduction to Tianning Temple: Yangzhou Tianning Temple was built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. According to legend, it was Xie'an's villa. It was given this name during the Zhenghe period of the Northern Song Dynasty. During the Kangxi and Qianlong years, the temple reached its peak and was praised by Emperor Qianlong as "the crown of all temples in the south of the Yangtze River".
