Introduction to Songjing: Songjing was discovered during the reconstruction of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal water conservancy project in 2005. It is an ancient well surrounded by bricks from Diejiao Station in the Song Dynasty. Its structure and style are extremely rare. According to folklore, because the terrain in this area is high, it is rumored to be the backbone of a black dragon. In order to suppress the black dragon and ensure peace in the area, people dug many wells on the backbone to pray for peace, prosperity and a better life.
