Introduction to the inscription on the gate: Zhuyuwan Park is located in Wantou Town, a northeastern suburb of Yangzhou City. Wantou Town was once known as Zhuyu Village and Zhuyu Bay in ancient times because of the large number of dogwood trees it grew; and because the ancient canal turned here, it was also named Bay mouth, bay head. Many emperors in ancient times visited this place in person, and there were poems praising its scenery in the Tang Dynasty.
