Introduction to Sizhi Pavilion: "Four Knowledge Style" Sizhi Pavilion is a four-corner pavilion with a north-south style, with colorful paintings, curved corners and glazed tiles, making it dazzling. The location of Nanyue Garden was originally the place where people surnamed Yang lived in Zini Village. There was a building here dedicated to Yang Zhen, the ancestor of Yang surname. Yang Zhen was an upright official in the Eastern Han Dynasty. After his student Wang Mi became an official, he gave him ten pounds of gold at night, but Yang Zhen refused to accept it. The student said: "It was sent at dusk, and no one knew about it." Yang said: "Heaven knows, God knows, you know, I know, what is ignorance!" Yang Zhenhou died after being slandered and was demoted, and later generations established the Four Knowledges The temple commemorates him. The newly built Sizhi Pavilion has a couplet: "If you cultivate your virtues and cultivate your moral integrity, you have sages, and you have to look up to famous sages to teach people." It expresses people's respect for honest officials.
