The exterior walls are made of silk-stitched water-polished blue bricks, and the walls are also inlaid with 18 colored porcelain paintings based on the story of "Journey to the West". At first glance, the mural looks like an art museum, but it actually functions as an elegant restroom for the convenience of tourists. The walls are made of white granite, and there are palace lanterns hanging around the roof. Shawan Liugeng Hall was built in the "Three Phoenixes and Liufang" style. While inheriting Lingnan architecture, it also made some developments and innovations. The materials used were changed from wood to cement steel bars, which is both strong and cost-saving. The color was changed to plain colors. It is painted and gilded. The interior decoration is elegant, with high-grade imported marble on the walls. The bathroom doors are carved with red rosewood and equipped with modern sanitary ware.
