Introduction to the Fourth Gongbaofang: The Fourth Gongbaofang was built in the 47th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1619) and has a history of nearly 400 years. It was built with the permission of Emperor Wanli in recognition of Wang Xiangqian, the Minister of War at that time, "Governor Ji Liao" and "Nine Borders of Mighty Masters" for his meritorious service in defending the Ming Dynasty. The Fourth Kung Pao Arch is the only survivor of the 72 archways in the new city and the only brick archway in the country. The square is 15 meters high, 9.2 meters wide and 3.3 meters deep, covering an area of more than 30 square meters. The bottom-up structure of the square is as follows: the bottom is a square boulder base, divided into three floors, with exquisite reliefs around each floor. The bottom layer is carved with lotus petals, the middle layer is carved with clouds, and the upper layer is carved with dragon colts, unicorns, pine deer, running lions, ganoderma lucidum, floating clouds, etc., with different and lifelike postures. There are three arches on the base, large in the middle and small on both sides, symmetrical and harmonious. The lintel is carved with two dragons playing with beads, which is very vivid. Above the large arch, there are two stone plaques embedded at the top and bottom. The lower one is a merit plaque, which is engraved with the names, titles, and edicts of four generations of the Wang family. The plaque is engraved with the four characters "Fourth Generation Gongbaofang" in neat fonts and powerful strokes. According to legend, it was written by the great calligrapher Dong Qichang.
