Yangguan was one of the two passes in the Han Dynasty's "four counties and two passes" plan in the Hexi Corridor. Yangguan Scenic Area is located 70 kilometers southwest of Dunhuang City, Gansu Province. It is one of the two passes in the "four counties and two passes" of the Hexi Corridor established by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty.
