Lianhuatai Scenic Area has towering mountains, dense forests, a wide variety of species, and rich cultural relics. The mountains are both majestic in the north and beautiful in the south; the water is both gentle in the south of the Yangtze River and beautiful in the north. The mountains and water constitute a unique natural landscape of strangeness, danger, steepness, beauty, and wonder. It is located in Maxia Township, Huating County, 40 kilometers west of the county seat, and the scenic area covers an area of 118.8 square kilometers. Lianhuatai was called "Longshou Mountain" in ancient times. It was renamed "Qinglong Mountain" by Emperor Xianzong of the Tang Dynasty, Li Chun. It is called "Lianhuatai" by the people because there is a huge rock on the top of the mountain that looks like a blooming lotus. Lianhuatai is 1520-2764 meters above sea level. It is said to be the place where the emperor worshipped the sky. It was first built in the Qin and Han Dynasties and flourished in the Tang Dynasty. Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism coexisted. How to get there:
