Scenic spot introduction:

Wuwei Dayun Temple is an ancient Buddhist temple built during the Sixteen Kingdoms period of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It has a long history and a magnificent scale. The ancient Tang Dynasty bell in the temple is one of the six famous ancient bells in China and is listed as one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Liangzhou under the name of "Dayun Xiaozhong".

Dayun Temple is located in the northeast corner of Wuwei City. The ancient temple was first built during the Sixteen Kingdoms Period of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It was originally named Hongzang Temple. It was called Huguo Temple during the Song and Western Xia Dynasties. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was a famous tourist attraction in Liangzhou with a large number of tourists. In the 16th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1383), a Japanese monk named Shamen Zhiman traveled across the ocean to worship here, creating a good story in the history of friendship between the Chinese and Japanese people.
On April 23, 1927, an 8.0 magnitude earthquake struck Wuwei, and Dayun Temple was severely damaged.
