Introduction to the Glazed Pagoda: There is a Glazed Pagoda above Penglai Pavilion. This tower was originally located on the hillside of Tangjiaping Village, Ganguyi, Yan'an City. It was moved here in 1985. The tower is an octagonal seven-story imitation wood structure with a total height of 6.25 meters. The first floor of the pagoda is decorated with one Buddha and two heavenly kings on each side; the second floor is decorated with one Buddha, two Bodhisattvas and two flying gods; the third floor is decorated with a flying dragon; the fourth floor is decorated with phoenix, unicorn, deer, Pegasus and other auspicious figures. There is a main Buddha sitting in lotus position on each side of the fifth, sixth and seventh floors, and there are four to five rows of small Buddhas next to it. The entire tower body is inlaid with peacock blue glazed components, and a three-liter bucket arch is placed under the eaves of each floor. According to the inscription on the seventh floor of the pagoda, the pagoda was built by Hou Dayang, a craftsman from Shanxi Fenzhou Prefecture in the second year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1629).
