Introduction to the Big Python River: It originates from Baxiantai in Taibai Mountain and is named after Liu Bang killed a python here. According to legend, Liu Bang, the emperor of the Han Dynasty, passed by this place on his way to Hanzhong via the Tangluo Road with Han Xin, Xiao He, and the waves rolled in the river with a threatening sound. Suddenly he saw a giant python lying on the road in front of him. Liu Bang stepped forward and pulled out his sword and stuck it on the ground. After shouting "Die with a sword wrapped around it!", a strong wind whipped up on the ground, dust flew up, and the python wrapped around the sword immediately became eighteen pieces and died. The blood dyed the river red, so it was also called the Red Water River.
