Introduction to the Xuanwu Jade Statue: After leaving the temple, turn to the east side, go up the steps along the slope, and reach a level area of about 10 meters, where you will see a small courtyard built with red bricks. Entering the courtyard, there is a row of cave dwellings along the wall. The Xuanwu statue in the cave is one of the eight scenic spots in Zhougong Temple. Because the statue is made of white marble, it is commonly known as "Jade Master". According to legend, the Xuanwu statue emerged from the ground after the cliff collapsed one day during the reign of Emperor Wu Zetian of the Tang Dynasty due to thunder and lightning.
