Yangmingshan National Park is characterized by its volcanic landscape, including the Datun Volcano Group. It is the smallest but most famous of Taiwan’s five “national parks”.

Attractions distribution:

Yangmingshan is located in the suburbs of Taipei City. It was originally named "Caoshan". The predecessor of the national park, "Datun National Park", is one of the earliest national parks in Taiwan, my country. "Tunshan Snow" is one of the eight scenic spots in Tamsui. The current Yangmingshan National Park was built in May 1986. It covers Yangmingshan and the volcanic group centered on Datun Mountain and Qixing Volcano. It covers an area of more than 11,000 hectares. It is one of the tourist centers and summer resorts in northern Taiwan. The main recreational areas and attractions in the park include: Xiaoyoukeng Recreation Area , Lengshuikeng area, Datun Recreation Area , Erziping Recreation Area , Qingtiangang area, Yangming Book House , Lin Yutang's Former Residence , Longfeng Valley Sulphur Valley Recreation Area , Lujiaokeng Ecological Protection Area, Dream Lake Ecological Reserve , Huangzuishan Ecological Protection Area, Qianshan Park , Yangming Park, Seven Star Park It is an important tourist center and summer resort in northern Taiwan.
