Introduction to the Big Buddha Cave: The Big Buddha Cave is the center of the whole temple and the largest and most exquisite cave existing in my country during the Taizong period of the Tang Dynasty. In the Buddhist cave, the giant Buddha is sitting on the rock. It is 24 meters tall. It is majestic in shape and richly decorated. It has a bun-shaped hair style, graceful and dignified, and a natural and plump body, which is quite Tang Dynasty style. The Big Buddha Cave also preserves the gorgeous backlit carvings of the Big Buddha, with seven Buddhas sitting around it, and twenty-two exquisitely carved flying acrobats guarding the Maitreya Buddha Pavilion. It presents a prosperous scene of the Western Paradise, known as Shaanxi and the largest Buddha on the Silk Road.
