Introduction to Sanqing Temple: "Qing" is the honorific name for Taoism. There are Sanqing Hall, Sanguan Hall, and Sanfa Hall in the temple. The temple was first built in the Qing Dynasty, and the existing buildings were restored in 1985. The Sanqing Hall enshrines the three highest deities of Taoism, also known as the "Three Pure Ones", namely Taishang Laojun of Taiqing, Yuanshi Tianzun of Yuqing, and Tongtian leader of Shangqing. On both sides of the temple, there are 40 murals on the left side, 41 murals on the right side, and the "Eighty-One Transformation of Taishang Laojun" in the upper right corner. Sanguan Hall, also called Sanyuan Hall, is dedicated to Emperor Ziwei of Heaven, Emperor Qingling of Earth, and Changgu of Shuiguan. Taoism says that the Heavenly Official bestows gods, the Earth Official forgives sins, and the Water Official relieves misfortune. The Sanfa (Master) Hall is dedicated to Zhenwu Patriarch, Lei Zu Dadi, and Zhang Daoling Tianshi.
