Introduction to the Jiucheng Palace Site: The Jiucheng Palace Site is located in Xincheng District, Linyou County, Shaanxi Province. It was originally the Renshou Palace of the Sui Dynasty. It was built in the 13th year of the founding of the Emperor (593). Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty came here to escape the summer heat six times. In the fifth year of Tang Zhenguan (631), Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty repaired and expanded the palace and renamed it Jiucheng Palace.
