Introduction to Crescent Gorge: Located in the middle of Jinsi Gorge, 3800 meters away from the gorge gate, it is the narrowest point of Heilong Gorge. On one side is Flagstaff Peak and on the other side is Maoer Cliff. The two mountains overlap to form a walled canyon. Looking up from the bottom of the valley, the light shining through the cracks in the cliff looks like a crescent moon, hence the name Crescent Gorge.
