Tai'an Lashan National Forest Park has been known as "Little Taishan" and "Little Daifeng" since ancient times. Its main peak is 258.4 meters above sea level, combining the majesty of the mountain, the beauty of the peak, the danger of the rock and the beauty of the stone. In addition, it is adjacent to the mountains and waters of Dongping Lake, with the sky shining on the water, the vast blue waves, and hundreds of boats sailing. Lashan is also a famous Taoist holy place and a famous historical and cultural mountain renowned at home and abroad. In the Western Zhou Dynasty, King Mu of Zhou came here to hunt, Li Mi, the leader of the Wagang Army in the Sui Dynasty, stayed here, and Sun Simiao, the King of Medicine in the Tang Dynasty, also collected herbs and practiced medicine on this mountain. Qiu Chuji, the founder of the Quanzhen Longmen School of Taoism, practiced here. This is also the hometown of Cheng Yaojin and the three heroes of the Ruan family, the uprising base of Chao Gai, Wu Yong and others when they first went to Liangshan, and the northern gateway of Liangshan.
