Introduction to Gaochong Temple: Gaochong Temple was established in the 13th year of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty (639 AD) and has a history of more than a thousand years. In the later dynasties, many monks and officials built it on a grand scale. In its heyday, there were hundreds of palaces, which was a spectacular sight.
