Tai'an Culaishan National Forest Park is a national forest park, national geological park and world geological park that integrates natural and cultural landscapes. Culaishan and Taishan are called sister mountains and have the reputation of "Little Lushan in Jiangbei". There is the world's largest artificial forest here, with vegetation dominated by evergreen coniferous forests and deciduous broad-leaved forests, with thick shade covering the entire mountain. Among them, "Culai Sunset" is one of the famous "Eight Scenic Spots of Tai'an". The scenic area has deep canyons, connected pools and waterfalls, strange rocks and caves, lakes and depressions, and lonely peaks that reach the sky. There are 797 species of plants and nearly 800 species of animals and insects. For thousands of years, monks in the mountains have built temples and chanted scriptures, Taoists have made elixirs and cultivated immortals, nobles have secluded themselves from the world, and scholars have written books and lectured, leaving behind many historical relics and legends. At the same time, it is also a famous anti-Japanese base in Shandong.

Spring: 20,000 mu of locust flowers are in full bloom on Mount Culai, turning the whole mountain into a sea of flowers. 15,000 mu of cherries are ripe, and red pearls and agates are in full bloom.

Visitors can come here to experience the fun of picking and tasting.

In summer: the valley has flowing pools and waterfalls, where you can play in the water, it is a natural oxygen bar, and the ecology is healthy, making it an ideal place to escape the summer heat.

How to get there:

On the west side of Mount Culai are roads from Tai'an to Liangzhuang, Tianbao, and Loude, as well as the Beijing-Shanghai Railway, National Highway 104, and Beijing-Fuzhou Expressway.

There are Tai'an to Xintai and Beijing-Shanghai Expressways. On the Shandong side, the 09 National Defense Highway passes through the Culai Mountain Forest Area and is connected to the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway,

The Tai'an-Laizhou first-class highway intersects with it, and on the south side of the mountain there is the Tai'an-Laizhou railway and the highways from Tai'an to Xinwen, Fangcheng, Pingyi and Xuzhou.

1. Vehicles departing from Tai'an Bus Station, the bus departure point west of Sihai Mall, and the Nanguan departure point pass through Tailou and Tailiang Highway to Lou

From Nanguan Station, head out of Taicheng to Jiuxian, Sunjiatuan, Beiwang, Xinxiwang or Heishibu.

Get off the bus and go east and north for 1.5 km to reach Culaishan Forest Park.

2. Take a bus from Tai'an Bus Station to Linyi via Beijing-Shanghai Expressway to Tai'an Huamawan Exit, then take a taxi from Huamawan to 09

Road to Gwanghwasa Temple , enter the park's East Gate (Guanghua Temple Gate), it takes about 1 hour.

3. Depart from Tai'an Bus Station, take Tailiang Highway to Xintai Tianbao Town, and then to Chashiyu Scenic Area and enter the southeast gate of the park (Chashiyu).

The journey takes about 1.5 hours and is 40 kilometers. The ticket price is 6 yuan and there is one bus per day.
