Column introduction: Anna's Column is a red marble column. It was built on July 26, 1706. It was jointly funded by representatives of the privileged class in the Tyrol state parliament. This day happened to be Anna's name day. , hence the name of the memorial column. The column head adopts the ancient Greek Corinthian style. On top of the column head is a statue of the Virgin Mary, looking solemnly at the snow-capped mountains in the distance.
