Introduction to the Nobel Peace Center: The Nobel Peace Center was renovated from the old Oslo train station and opened in 2005. The building was creatively designed by British architect David Adjaye and funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Cultural Center, private sponsors and ticket fees. It is managed by the Nobel Foundation and is a private, independent institution.
