The Bay Tourist Area is located near the harbor and the sea, integrating the Jiangnan water town, rural scenery, coastal mudflats, and natural wildness. It is a resort for urban residents to return to nature, enjoy nature, and have leisure travel and business meetings. The tourist area is located in the coastal area of Fengxian District at the southern end of Shanghai, on the north bank of Hangzhou Bay. The total area is 132 square kilometers, and the 137-kilometer-long coastline runs from east to west. The newly built flood control avenue along the coast is 2.6 kilometers long and has become a sightseeing avenue for the Bay Tourist Area.
