Introduction to the entrance of Taoyuan Cave: There is no hole in Taoyuan Cave. The red cliffs on both sides of Taohua Stream confront each other, giving people a feeling of the cave wall hanging high. The cliff on the right side of the cave entrance is 120 meters high, and there is a 36-meter-high carved carving on it. There are four characters "Taoyuan Cave". The cliff was inscribed in 1605 AD by Chen Yuanzhan, a famous scholar who resigned from office and returned to Yong'an during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. Each character is two meters square. Below "Taoyuan Cave" is a seven-rhyme poem written by Chen Yuanzhan:
Break through the rocks and stream, explore the wonders and ride on the boat.
Qianxun jade is cut from the high cliffs, and the cold autumn of June grows in the secluded valleys.
Go and live leisurely in the smoke and clouds, and the gulls and birds that have forgotten their chance will rise and fall.
The people of Wuling feel that the peach trees are far away in the sky, and they are still hesitating when looking at them.
