Introduction to Wenwu Temple: After passing the "Enrong" stone archway, there is a "Wenwu Temple" on the right side of the road. It is said that the temple was built in the early Ming Dynasty and was called Guandi Temple at that time. It is only one floor and is dedicated to Emperor Wu Guan Gong. During the Qianlong period (1779 AD), it was transformed into today's two-story Wenwu Temple, also known as Wenchang Pavilion. The upper temple is dedicated to the literary sage Confucius, and there is a couplet that says: A teacher for all generations, a model of etiquette in all directions; the lower temple is dedicated to the martial sage Guan Gong, and there is a couplet that says: Live up to the righteousness of Taoyuan in your life, and the loyalty of Shu Han will last forever. This kind of building that combines civil and military temples is extremely rare, and the Hakka people's character of advocating literature and martial arts is fully reflected here.
