Introduction to the Hongkeng Earth Building Group: The Hongkeng Earth Building Group is located in Hongkeng Village, Hukeng Town, Yongding County. It was first built by ancestors of the Lin family in the 13th century at the end of the Song Dynasty and the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty. The buildings are well-proportioned and well laid out. They were built in the Ming Dynasty. There are 13 large-scale earth buildings such as Fengsheng Building and Yongyuan Building. There are 33 large-scale earth buildings built in the Qing Dynasty including Fuyu Building, Kuiju Building, Yanglin Building and Zhongzhu Building. In addition, there are also some built with raw earth. Thean Hou Temple, Rixin Academy, Lin Ancestral Hall, Guandi Temple, etc.
The Hongkeng Earth Building Group includes: Guangyu Building, Fuxing Building, Kuiju Building, Fuyu Building, Rushing Building, Zhencheng Building and Qingcheng Building, all of which are well preserved.
