Zhao Shiyan (1901-1927), courtesy name Qinsun, pseudonym Guofu, pen name Shiying, Lesheng, was born in Youyang, Sichuan. He was an outstanding proletarian revolutionary in the early days of the Communist Party of China, an outstanding disseminator of Marxist theory, and a famous leader of the workers' movement. Today, Zhao Shiyan's former residence has become a revolutionary memorial site, with people of all ethnic groups, especially young people, coming to pay their respects in an endless stream. It is located in Longtan Town, Youyang Autonomous County, Chongqing.

The former residence of Zhao Shiyan is a brick-and-wood courtyard in the Qing Dynasty. The main house faces south and is in the middle of a "T" shape. The building area is 712 square meters and the land area is 1,605 square meters. There are 32 tiled houses in total. There are east and west wing rooms in the front yard; east and west wing rooms in the back yard; the mill is three rooms wide; the mill is located on the east side of the main house. In addition, there is a statue of the martyr Zhao Shiyan, Memorial Square and Zhao Shiyan Showroom .
