Introduction to Ye's House: Located on the south side of Nanhou Street, it is the former residence of Mr. Ye Zaiqi, a Jinshi scholar in the 12th year of Guangxu's reign. Mr. Ye Zaiqi was the supervisor of the "Fujian University School" in the 27th year of Guangxu's reign (that is, the principal of Fuzhou No. 1 Middle School ). Ye's house was built in the Ming Dynasty. The entire house faces north and south, covering an area of 2321 square meters. The old house combines the styles of the Ming, Qing and Republic of China. It is one of the relatively intact ancient houses in Nanhou Street. , now serves as a permanent exhibition center for Fujian’s intangible cultural heritage, promoting and promoting our province’s rich and colorful intangible cultural heritage, with more than a thousand exhibits of intangible cultural heritage.
