According to "Records of Fujian Capital", Luoxing Pagoda was built by Liu Qiniang in Lingnan (Guangdong) during the Song Dynasty. It was originally a wooden pagoda. After it was destroyed during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, it was rebuilt on the spot in the fourth year of Tomorrow Qi. It is an octagonal tower with a base diameter of 8.6 meters and a height of 31.5 meters. It is a famous port and navigation symbol in the world's nautical charts and is known as the "Chinese Tower".
