Introduction to the Shipbuilding Elite Hall: The Shipbuilding Elite Hall was renovated from the Holy Hospital founded by the Anglican Church in England. After Fuzhou was opened as a five-port treaty port, many foreign cargo ships entered and exited Mawei Port. The Church of England set up a hospital in Mawei to provide medical treatment to foreign ship crews and also manage the quarantine of foreign ships.
Today, the Holy Education Hospital has been converted into the Shipbuilding Elite Hall. The exhibition hall consists of a preface hall and seven exhibition rooms, showing the elegance of the elites among the thousands of talents who have graduated from the Shipbuilding School since 1866.
