From late January to February 1944, guerrillas from the provincial party committee came to Banli one after another. After the provincial party committee was transferred to Banli, several strongholds were established in Dehua Daxi, Yongyan and Nan'an Badu, etc., bringing Puxian, Shanxi and other places in northern Fujian, northeastern Fujian, Fuzhou, Yongtai, Datian and central Fujian. Nanhui and other base areas were connected. During this period, Banli Village became the center of revolutionary activities in the province.
To commemorate this period of history, the construction project of the Provincial Party Committee's former site (Banli) started in August 2002. The Provincial Committee's former site exhibition hall was completed and officially opened in June 2003, covering an area of ​​7,000 square meters and a construction area of ​​7,000 square meters. 500 square meters, the new monument of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China is 3.68 meters high.
