Introduction to the Four Teachings Temple: It was formerly a library built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. It was built by Miao Shengzhi and named "Yueyuxuan" to extend the teachings to enlighten Meng Tong. In the sixth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1867), Miao Shengzhi's great-grandson built a central hall and two verandas on the original site of "Yueyuxuan". He wanted to build a "Four Religion Temple", but a fire spread to his neighbors and most of them were destroyed by a torch. In 1912, his descendants raised funds to build it.
