Introduction to the Taiyin Palace: It is located on the upper right side of Toad Pond and on the bank of Xixi River (Beixi). It was first built in the Dade period of the Yuan Dynasty (1297-1307) and rebuilt in the ninth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1870). It can be called the ancient temple of Xipu. The "ancestor" of architecture. It is built on the mountain, facing two rivers. The couplet on the gate, "Two rivers face the outside of the pavilion, and four people's fireworks protect the front of the palace." The rhythm is rigorous and the contrast is neat. It not only explains the geographical environment of the Taiyin Palace in a concise and comprehensive way, but also expresses People from all walks of life in Xipu, agriculture, industry and commerce believe in gods and Buddhas and pray for good wishes for peace; there are three shrines in the main hall, with Chen Jinggu in the middle, Mazu on the left and Nanhai Guanyin on the right; the oval octagonal caisson above the main hall is painted with "Journey to the West" and "Journey to the West". "The List of Gods" and other mythological stories. The caisson on the left is painted with a pair of golden pheasants holding up their wings and eager to fight. The caisson on the right is painted with a beautiful peacock perched on a laurel tree and opening its tail. These murals have lasted 700 years. The color is still the same as before.
Since the creation of the Taiyin Palace, on the eve of the Lantern Festival every year, lanterns and colorful decorations, green and red decorations have been decorated by the good people in the village. Many families voluntarily contributed money, and the chief minister collected and prepared incense and candle offerings, and invited Taoist priests. For several days, the Taoist temple has been set up to "welcome the immortals", praying for blessings, good fortune and peace in the village. During this period, the sound of gongs, drums and firecrackers can be heard constantly, and devout people even come to the palace to burn incense and pray.
