Introduction to Lu Gong Temple: Lu Gong Temple is located in Confucian Street, Tinghu District, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province. Yancheng is the hometown of the famous prime minister Lu Xiufu in the late Southern Song Dynasty. In order to commemorate this patriotic hero, descendants built it in the 10th year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (1531) The "Lu Gong Temple" was built on the west side of today's Confucian Street. It was originally built as "three entrances and two chambers" and "one square and one pavilion". On November 24, 2009, the restored and expanded Lu Gong Temple was officially opened. The temple now covers a total area of ​​about 6,750 square meters, including 3,375 square meters for the ancestral hall and 2,250 square meters for the cultural block.
The display in Lu Gong Temple is divided into two parts: "Home" and "Country". "Home" mainly consists of the preface hall, Jingzhong Hall and the main ancestral hall, focusing on Lu Xiufu's virtues of being honest, studious, helpful and filial to his parents; "country" consists of "Zhonglie Hall" and "Yangzhi Hall", through Modern exhibition methods reproduce Lu Xiufu's diligent and honest government and his heroic sacrifice for the country on Yashan.
