What to do: Ziquejie Rafting is located on the countercurrent Taohua River where Tao Yuanming entered Taoyuan. It is an original rafting summer resort, 120 yuan/person.
Eat: Sanhe soup, jar rice noodles, loach tofu, glutinous rice meatballs are Xinhua local famous dishes; glutinous rice cake, Duntu chicken, Hunan bacon, konjac fried yellow beef, pork belly, fish jelly , waterwheel firewood bacon, pork blood cake, air-dried salted duck, etc. are all good delicacies.

How to get there:
Bus: The Hunan-Guizhou Railway runs through the county in Xinhua. It is very convenient to travel by train. After getting off the train, you can take the inter-county shuttle bus from Xinhua to Shuichuan or Xinhua to Fengjia Town to enter the scenic spot (the shuttle bus runs multiple times a day, and you can take the bus from the county seat) station ride).
From Meiyuan Bus Station (East Station), you can take a bus to Meishan Dragon Palace, or you can go by boat. If there are many people, you can also take a van or taxi
Self-driving: Exit Xinhua County. , take S225 bound for Xupu, Huaihua. Turn left at Xiejia Temple and get off S225 Road - Luguan Town - Yunxi - Wentian Town → Shuiche Town - Fengjia Village (the tourist gate is here. Entering the tourist gate is Ziquejie. The distance from the county town to Ziquejie is 55 kilometers. It takes about 2.5 hours)
