Zhuzhou Shennong Valley (Taoyuan Cave) National Forest Park is a natural "green treasure house" and zoo with mountains, water, rocks and forests. It is elegant, interesting, strange and dangerous. Shennong Valley is also a national natural reserve. Its main protection objects are South China tiger, yellow-bellied pheasant, clouded leopard, golden leopard, resource fir (courtyard fir), silver Chinese fir, southern yew, Bole tree, orchids and other nationally protected, rare and endangered, unique animal and plant species resources and their biodiversity, and the original evergreen broad-leaved forest ecosystem in the humid area of the central subtropics. The entire park is full of dancing peaks, crisscrossing valleys and ridges, and is mostly covered by dense primeval forests. Shennong Valley is located in Wanyang Mountain in the northeast of Yanling County, 39 kilometers away from the county seat. The scenic area with a total area of 10,000 hectares is divided into five major scenic areas: Jiashui, Tianxinlin, Dongkeng, Taohuaxi, and Pingkeng. How to get there:
① By plane: The Shennong Valley scenic spot is based on Yanling County and is 143 kilometers away from Jinggangshan Airport. Take the Yanmu Expressway to Yanling Miandu Exit and get off the expressway to reach the scenic spot; it is 174 kilometers away from Hengyang Nanyue Airport via G107 The scenic spot can be reached via Yanling County via Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, Quannan Expressway; it is 260 kilometers from Yanling County to Huanghua Airport. Tourists from all over the world can reach the scenic spot after getting off the plane via Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, Hengyang Expressway and Yanling County.
② By train: Hengcha-Jilin Railway runs through the southwestern region of Jiangxi Province and the southeastern part of Hunan Province, connecting the two main railway lines of Beijing-Kowloon and Beijing-Guangzhou. It has a train station in Yanling County, 30 kilometers away from the scenic spot.
③ By car: It is 48 kilometers from the scenic spot to the Yandi Mausoleum exit of Hengyang Expressway and 18 kilometers from the Yanmu Expressway exit. Yanling Bus Station has direct connections to Hengyang, Zhuzhou, Changsha, Xiangtan, Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Changde, Cars in Jinggangshan and other cities.
