Street ferry introduction: In the early years of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty (1821), ferries from Lianzhou Street to Beihai were mostly docked at the pier on the south bank of the inner harbor at the east end of Waisha. Passengers could go ashore directly to the main street (now Zhuhai Road). Formerly known as "Jie Fukou". After Beihai opened as a port in the second year of Guangxu (1876), Jiedukou became the busiest passenger terminal in Beihai.
