Introduction to Shuidong Puning Temple: Puning Zen Temple, also known as Shuangma Temple, is located in the northeast of the town. The locals call it the "Red Temple" because the walls are painted red. It was first built in the Eastern Han Dynasty (204), so the earliest temple in the temple is the Ancestral Mountain Hall. There are two red and white horses and grooms in front of the door. It has gone through vicissitudes of 1800 years and is the earliest temple in our area. The current buildings are basically left over from Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty and Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty. Because the temple is small, it is not valued. This may be the reason why it exists today. Master Zongping has been here for more than 20 years and has raised funds from various sources and made many good connections. The appearance of the temple today is very honorable. It also enshrines a 12-meter-high white marble open-air Guanyin statue, which guards the peace day and night.
