Monument introduction: The mountain roads in Taoling are very steep. From 1969 to 1972, when Wang Leping was the secretary of the Jingxian County Party Committee, there were no roads in Taoling. He went to Taoling twice to conduct research and arrange survey and design. , led the villagers to overcome many difficulties and built the Taoling Highway, which was a feat. In 2007, Wang Leping wrote to the leader in charge of road transportation in Anhui Province, requesting the widening and reconstruction of Taoling Highway. With the support of the Provincial Department of Transportation, Taoling Highway was widened and reconstructed, from the original 4-meter-wide soil surface to the current 6 meters wide cement surface.
