Kirin introduction: On both sides of the archway are the Kirin beasts, cast in bronze. An ancient saying goes, "When the unicorn appears, the Yellow River becomes clear, and when the Yellow River becomes clear, the sage emerges." Qilin is an auspicious animal derived from the Yellow River. As a guardian spirit animal, it stands on both sides of the archway.
