Introduction to Lening Hall: Caixi District Trade Union was originally a residence built by the Wang family landlord in 1920. The house faces north and faces south, with a brick and wood structure and a cantilevered mountain style building. In 1929, after the Caixi peasant uprising was successful, the Caixi District Trade Union opened its office here. In 1930, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Lenin's birth, the Caixi District Trade Union was renamed Lenin Hall.
