The Shaw Museum of China University of Geosciences is located on the shore of the beautiful East Lake in Wuhan. The museum was formerly the Museum of China University of Geosciences. The Shaw Museum has more than 30,000 geological specimens of various types, including nearly 2,000 rare treasures in nature, such as the famous Heilongjiang Amurosaurus, Hepingyongchuanosaurus, Psittacosaurus and other dinosaur skeleton fossils, as well as various precious minerals, Gemstones, fossil specimens, etc. Five geoscience exhibition halls have been opened, including the Mysteries of the Earth, Origin and Evolution of Life, Minerals and Rocks, Jewelry and Jade, and Mineral Resources.
