Introduction to the Stone Buddha Hall: The Stone Buddha Hall is located at the north end of Cheerying Village, more than 300 meters away from the Guandi Temple. The original hall faces west and faces east. There used to be a mountain gate in front of the hall. Due to the long history, there are no monks anymore. Now there is a man named Yao who lives in Fangjia Hutong inside Andingmen. In the fifteenth year of the Republic of China (AD 1926), the Stone Buddha Hall was about to collapse due to leaks. The Kuomintang literati Li Shizeng and Duan Qiguang imitated Western European architecture and hired Baihujian stoneworkers to build a stone pavilion in the spring of the following year. The pavilion was about 7 meters high and had arches on all sides. Shaped doors and windows protect the stone Buddha, and it is a key cultural relic protection unit in Beijing.
