Mulan Mountain is named after General Mulan. It is the hometown of General Mulan. It is said that Mulan practiced martial arts here when she was young. Mulan Mountain is located in the north of Wuhan City, with an altitude of 582.1 meters and an area of 78 square kilometers. The scenic area has tall and straight mountains, beautiful scenery, crisscrossing ravines, and various weather conditions. Mulan Mountain originally had seven palaces, eight views, and thirty-six halls, with a total construction area of more than 30,000 square meters. It was one of the famous Taoist mountains in Hubei, and most of it was later abandoned. Mulan Mountain is also a famous revolutionary resort, where Wu Guanghao founded Comrades Li Xiannian, Chen Shaomin, Xu Haidong and other comrades of the Seventh Army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army, as well as Liu and Deng Dajun's 19th Brigade, etc. all fought long-term revolutionary struggles in the Mulan Mountain area. Mulan Mountain takes natural ecology as the carrier, Mulan culture as the characteristic, relying on rich tourism resources and mysterious religious concepts. After more than 20 years of efforts, it has been built into a complex integrating religious pilgrimage, summer vacation and leisure, ecological tourism, geological tourism, and red tourism. Tour: Every year, hundreds of thousands of faithful men and women come to the mountain to offer incense and worship. Especially on the 19th day of the second lunar month and the Golden Autumn Mulan Temple Fair on the first day of August each year, pilgrims gather and become very lively.

How to get there:
Public transportation: Take the special bus from Xinhua Road and Zhuye Mountain in Hankou to Huangpi Mulan Mountain; take the suburban one-day tour special bus from Wuhan Port to Mulan Mountain; take bus 292 from Hankou Railway Station to Huangpi Passenger Terminal and transfer to the special bus to reach Mulan Mountain.
Self-driving: From Wuhan-Huang Expressway, Han-Yi Expressway, and Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, take the Wuhan Outer Ring Road to Huangpi Mulan Mountain. Or from Daihuang Expressway on Zhuye Mountain to Huangpi Qianchuan, take the Loess Class I Highway, turn right after passing Changxuanling and take Changta Highway for three kilometers.
