Introduction to Lotus Root Pavilion: It is built in a pool east of the central axis of the Grand View Garden, facing water on all sides, with zigzag verandahs on the left and right. There is a bamboo bridge across the water to the shore in the south, and there are couplets in black lacquer and inlaid with clams hanging on the pavilion pillars. The shadow of hibiscus breaks through the orchid paddle, and the fragrance of water chestnut and lotus root flows deep into the bamboo bridge."
